SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPY
AND SCREENING

The team at Progressive Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy have experience tending to high level athletes like the Penrith Panthers, all the way to the olympic level.

We take Sports Injury and Screening seriously. Individuals and sporting clubs of all levels and abilities can use this system.

Musculoskeletal Injury Screens are conducted by our experienced physiotherapists to identify individual factors that may increase your risk of injury and/or limit your athletic performance.

At Progressive Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy, we will conduct a thorough individual assessment and provide you with a detailed report of the findings. We will also provide you with a rehabilitation program to target the insufficiencies identified in the screen.

In addition, we use the Axit System to measure athletic performance. The Axit System measures force and power production, which can help us identify and determine if there is a potential deficit, which may cause injury.

RECOVERY AND
GAME READY

We use a revolutionary machine called The Game Ready Med 4 Elite to help you on your journey back from injury.

The Game Ready Med 4 Elite provides heat, cold and compression. Depending on the state of your injury, this can help to reduce the time spent in the acute inflammatory phase. Research shows that it’s use in acute injuries helps to:

  • Reduce pain
  • Improve ROM (range of motion)
  • Maximise functional outcomes

Another major benefit of this revolutionary piece of equipment is that since it also provides heat, it can also be used later on in your rehabilitation journey to help free up any stiff muscles and joints that you may have.

Watch the video to learn more about The Game Ready Med 4 Elite.
